“I have three younger sisters and two brothers in my family to take care of. All of them are working odd jobs except for the youngest brother who is in school. I wanted to be a beautician but didn’t have any formal training and was looking for a job when a bhaiyya helped me get into this security work. This was a blessing in disguise for me as my father just retired and we needed the extra money. Most times I work double shift to save money and send it home.

Being the eldest daughter, I have to work hard so my family can live a good life there and all of us can survive. My parents are so proud of me.

I love my job! It helps me interact with so many people and the uniform gives me respect and power. I help many people with my work and am always smiling. I am very brave and can handle anything. When I am able to handle everything life threw at me with a smile, my job is comparatively easy.”
