“When I was young, I always wanted to be an actor. I was really interested and excelled in theater. My family was very conservative and didn’t let my dream grow. I promised myself that I won’t do that to my children. My husband encouraged me. God gave me a daughter and I gave her full support in whatever she wanted to do. She won Miss Bangalore and has acted in numerous advertisements and a couple of films. She is serious about studies too. I am proud of her.”
