“I was 21 and studying civil engineering and she was from a different college. I was good at my studies and she came to me for some help with her project. I helped her and in the process we fell in love. I had a scooter and we used to go on long drives discuss several things and dream big. Three years later I got dressed a job in the military as a consultant architect to the armed forces. I dressed up in my best and went to ask for her hand. Her dad initially didn’t like me but because of my charming nature, my job and my love for her and commitment, he agreed. We are married for over 30 years now and it has been a fun ride all the way. I still remember the flowery dress she wore when she came to meet me with the books in her hand for the first time.”
